Recently, I have received several phone calls about the type of buckle that would fit on the different sizes of belts. Many different questions have been asked, and I hope this sheds some light on the buckles.
1.25 or 1 1/4 inch fit the width of the belt that is 1.25 inches wide. The top row fits this belt: the first 3 are Kippy and the 4th is a Simon. You cannot buy Simon separately. No.1 is called recessed pave:small crystals surround the flower design, No. 2 is called point back: crystals are pointed and fit into holes drilled into the metal of the buckle;causing only the tops to show, No. 3 is called pave: like a pave ring the crystal are set side by side, and No. 4 is called applique on top of the flower the design,this is available on B.B. Simon belts. Kippy is sold separately.
1.5 or 1 1/2 inch size fits the 1.5 inch wide leather strap. There are several types of buckles that will fit your kippy or bb simon belt. The bottom row fits this belt with the 1st is called Recessed Pave and is the same as above, the 2nd is the point back and is the same as above, the 3rd being avaiable on Simon belts or I can make one to fit your needs.
The sizes are not interchangeable, and do not fit on any other widths other than what is it supposed to fit. I used red buckles to show you the buckles clearly. New buckle sets are coming out in bronze, black and gun metal gray. All are available here at Cowgirl Glitter. :)
